Reverend Lenita Reeves is an author, speaker, pastor, wife and mother of four children using her gifts to strengthen the body of Christ and pioneer for the kingdom. A self-described outspoken overcomer, she has risen from a background of abuse to discover the grace and calling of God for her life that existed before the Lord formed her. From senior class president to founder of a non-profit, leadership has been an evident mark of Lenita’s calling and passions throughout her life. She is an international speaker, member of the RAINN speaker’s bureau, and the Maryland Coalition against Sexual Assault, Women of Color Network. She attended Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta, Georgia and has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, a Master of Arts in Dance Education from the Ohio State University and a MBA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
She began her service to the Lord in campus ministry. As Deputy Director of Campus Ministries United, she assisted in establishing campus branches and in the coordination of an annual conference aimed at bringing various campus groups together in a night of prayer, praise, and relationship building. In the next phase of her ministry, God taught her the basics of pastoring while serving as a youth minister. Subsequently, she participated in international missions, preaching the gospel in Jamaica, Haiti, London, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana and the Bahamas. Before being assigned to assist her husband in establishing the Action Baltimore church branch, she served in a sister Action branch, coordinating its cell group ministry and providing leadership training for cell leaders, teaching adult Sunday school, and ministering to the Lord in intercession and deliverance.
Currently, Lenita is an ordained pastor, conference speaker, prophetic intercessor, and teacher. She serves at Action Chapel Baltimore as the pastor in charge of Christian Education (Bible Training School, Adult Sunday School, Membership and New Converts Classes), Women’s Ministry, and Encounter Night, which is a time of ministering healing, deliverance, and the prophetic. She met her husband, Pastor Cephas Reeves, on her first missions trip to West Africa and together, they currently lead the Action Chapel Baltimore church branch under the covering of Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, Overseer and founder of Action Chapel International in Accra, Ghana, who confirmed her calling and ordained her into the ministry.
